Mission accomplished at Missions Fest Vancouver

February 3, 2014  |  General

MissionFestMission accomplished! Grace Rwanda was at Missions Fest Vancouver earlier this month and made a real impact!

We connected with people from all over B.C., even Washington and Rwanda, and shared news of our literacy work for Rwandan youth.

Elizabeth also gave a very well-received hour-long seminar on genocide, forgiveness and reconciliation.

We were impressed with the heart people had for our cause and amazed at the consistent interest people who visited our booth had in Rwanda and its future. We made great connections, gave out Rwandan crafts, and held a gift basket giveaway!

We’d like to thank all our volunteers, especially Janis and Ray Martyn for all their help making Missions Fest a success.

We hope to take our message on the road to the next Missions Fest Alberta in Edmonton later this February to keep spreading the word.
